2022-04-13 TIA in-person meetings resume 04-03-2022 In-person TIA meetings are resuming. Our next meeting is Thursday, April 14, at 6:30 pm. We will be meeting at the Karns Community Club Center at 7708 Oak Ridge Highway, Knoxville, TN 37931.

2018-07-17 Inventor Protection Act 07-17-2018 US Inventor, an inventor support group, has information on the current Inventor Protection Act that is being introduced in Congress. The IPA seeks to undo much of the damage that has been done with the AIA. But the effort needs public support to convince Members of Congress to Sponsor and support the proposed Bill.
2017-09-21 TNInventAcon scheduled 09-21-2017 The date for the TNInventCon is March 3, 2018. The event will be held at the Blount County Public Library in downtown Maryville from 10am to 2pm.

A temporary restraining order was issued against World Patent Marketing for being “an invention-promotion scam that has bilked thousands of consumers out of millions of dollars.” The FTC charged World Patent Marketing with committing unfair and deceptive trade practices.
